NatureMetrics, 2024 Earthshot Prize Finalist, are a for-profit company, using eDNA technology to help organisations like the WEF, RSPB, and corporates such as Tesco, Nestle, and EDF monitor and report on their environmental impact. By transforming the complexities of nature into simple insights, NatureMetrics enables businesses to understand the full diversity of life across their sites, along with the risks and dependencies tied to this. With advanced eDNA, data analytics, and AI, NatureMetrics addresses businesses’ increasing concerns about nature-related risks. Their rapid growth means they now serve 600 clients across 110 countries and were recently bolstered by $25m in growth capital, supported by The Earthshot Prize’s investment matchmaking platform Launchpad.
