Wow! What a Team! It's been 10 weeks since I started at CLEVR, and what a ride it's been! How amazing are all the people I've met. Over the last two months, I took the opportunity to visit all our offices in Norway, Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands. I talked with as many people as possible. It's a momentum that doesn't come back. Listening without prejudice, asking clarifying questions without inside information, and building a true understanding of who we are and what we stand for - that's what I focused on. Based on countless stories from the field, I came to some interesting new strategic insights. I took the time to speak with all our sales and most of our customer teams, diving deep into what we do for our customers and what makes us unique. I didn't want to jump to conclusions too quickly, though. I let it all simmer in the back of my mind, keeping an open dialogue and allowing everyone to share their perspectives. I always value the opinions of employees and customers the most. That's who I am, that's what makes me tick. "Reculer, pour mieux sauter" - take a step back, in order to jump two steps forward. I'm convinced that people are the emotional link between strategy and execution. Although we're implementing amazing PLM and low-code solutions, in the end, we're a people business. Our people make the true difference, day in and day out. It’s fascinating how many other stakeholders you must deal with as a CEO: The private equity partner, the strategic business partners – like Siemens and Mendix, the board, shareholders, the Management Team… But I love every minute of it. Making sure everyone stays aligned is easier said than done, but oh so important. Transparency is key. Setting up a recurring dialogue is crucial. As the saying goes, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together!" Based on candid customer feedback, insightful partner discussions, and in-depth talks within the CLEVR team, it's clear we're on to something unique, exciting and compelling.
