🌍✨ Reflecting on an incredible experience at the European Forum Alpbach, We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow with such an inspiring community. Here are three key highlights from our time at the forum and during the hackathon:   1. Diverse Connections: It was truly enriching to meet and engage with a wonderfully diverse group of individuals, spanning various countries and age groups. The unique perspectives shared by everyone contributed to a deeply enriching experience. 2. Engaging Formats: The hackathon’s innovative format allowed us to dive into discussions in both small and larger groups, making it easy to interact and connect on a deeper level. This structure really fostered meaningful conversations and learning. 3. Open Dialogues: We were amazed by the openness and willingness of everyone to share their thoughts, discuss pressing issues, and explore different perspectives. 🙌 Just a few days and the Megahackathon at the European Forum Alpbach will kick off! 🙌 We can’t wait heading to Tyrol to meet with all the brilliant minds from around the world that will be working on innovative solutions for a better world. 🌍🧠🤝 Because, and we said this before, this isn't just any hackathon—it's all about driving positive change. This year’s hackathon is all about tackling the role of financial and economic literacy in shaping the future. This–unfortunately–is still necessary while good financial and economic education is still a privilege that is often reserved for affluent families with high incomes and social status. Young women are also disproportionately affected because finances and financial knowledge still seem to be predominantly a "man's thing." These brave individuals risk their lives daily, navigating crises to deliver essential aid and support to the most vulnerable. Yet, 2023 was the deadliest year on record for them. 2024 could be even worse. Despite international laws designed to protect these workers and the civilians they serve, violations continue unchecked. The world must do better. This World Humanitarian Day, we join the global call to #ActForHumanity, demanding an end to these violations and the impunity that allows them to persist.
