It’s common knowledge the data centre/construction world is very male led. At Red Bear Tech, we are constantly striving to change this. Furthermore, we love it when we secure a female hire for which we are always working towards our goal to be equal opportunities business. That being said, with so many men in the business we are very conscious of their wellbeing especially, when it comes to Prostate Cancer. This is why we are making this post because our dear bear Jason Foggo is taking part in a 72 hole in one day golf game on 9th August, in support of Prostate Cancer UK. Let’s talk about the planet 🌎 Cycling to work is more than just a personal choice—it's a powerful way to contribute to a healthier planet and reduce our carbon footprint. By opting for two wheels instead of four, you're not just reducing traffic congestion and emissions, but also playing a vital role in combating climate change, allowing space for more biodiversity in the city, and in boosting our health. Every pedal stroke you take helps to lower carbon emissions, decrease air and noise pollution, and conserve energy. ⭐🚲❤️ We are so proud of our team in Frankfurt Joss Goldie, Blair Faulkner and James Riley who cycle 20/30km to work daily while they still have to move a lot around the work site throughout the day. Also kudos to our office staff, who also daily walk or cycle to the work. Last but not least, thank you to the rest of our teams that carpool to commute to work. We understand the infrastructure is not always there, or the sites are too far from the accommodation to cycle daily, but your action still matters. 🌞 Special thanks to our Sustainability Manager, Alexa D. for all her support in our quest to work towards a sustainable future.
