UX Designer

About The Job

At Build in Amsterdam, we are seeking a talented UX designer who is passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and driven to create products that challenge convention to stand out in the industry. You will be responsible for creating validated solutions for our digital flagship stores, while also providing guidance and insights to team members, such as designers, strategists, and writers.

Responsibilities

• Use your UX skills to strengthen briefs, define objectives, and deliver top-notch user experience
• Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify research needs
• Design and execute a variety of lean research studies, including usability studies, surveys, competitor research or similar
• Synthesise findings into meaningful themes, and expertly share these results with a variety of stakeholders by building a cohesive narrative that makes it easy for the audience to follow
• Create user high quality UX deliverables including but not limited to user flows, information architectures, site maps, wireframes and prototypes.
• Conducting pre- & post-launch validation to ensure that the product meets the needs of its users
• Being a strong advocate for user-centred design to both the internal team and external stakeholders
• Stay updated on the latest standards, trends and techniques in UX design and incorporate them into your work to ensure our projects are innovative and cutting-edge
  
  

IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF

• You have 2-5+ years of UX design/research experience
• You have experience delivering high quality UX deliverables
• You understand how to balance usability with aesthetics. You can identify the right tradeoffs to make at the right times.
• You have skils in current industry tools with the ability to adopt to new technologies
• You have experience in UX research (both qualitative and quantitive)
• You ensure projects meet the needs of its users and is continuously optimized to provide an exceptional user experience
• You are a creative thinker who loves challenging conventions
• You have strategic problem solving skills and the strategy skills to deliver best-in-class solutions
• You are highly proficient in written & spoken English
• You are led by curiosity, humility & a passion for doing great work
