📡 Did you know that the city of Trikala in Greece has offered free public WiFi since 2004?📶 This is just one example of how Trikala has become a pioneer in modern technology! 🌐✨ As Greece’s first smart city, Trikala continuously enhances the quality of life for its residents through innovative solutions. 🏙️💡🚀 During the first day of the MyFuture team’s visit, we had the opportunity to explore how this incredible city operates! 🤩 Trikala uses intelligent systems for traffic management 🚦, lighting 💡, and even waste management ♻️, resulting in cost savings and increased efficiency. 🎉🎂 Today is a VERY special day for someone in the My Future family! 🎂🎉 Our amazing volunteer, Karolina Chojnacka, is celebrating her birthday today! 🥳 Karolina joined the My Future team many years ago, back when she was still in high school in Radom – and what a journey it’s been since then! 💫 We’ve traveled the world together – from Denmark 🇩🇰 to Portugal 🇵🇹, Norway 🇳🇴, and soon we’ll be exploring SmartCity solutions in Greece 🇬🇷 learning new things!! 🌍 The time we’ve spent together has truly been a lifetime adventure, as you can tell from the countless photos and memories we’ve shared. 📸❤️ Karolina is now making waves at Mars 🚀, working closely on the employment of Young Talents as Early Talent Specialist, helping shape the future of young professionals. 🌟 We’re so incredibly proud of the growth and achievements she’s accomplished over the years! 💪✨ Karolina has led so many projects within My Future, and we can’t wait to see her shine again soon – leading a workshop for Change Agents and joining the Future of Career debate! 🔥 KARO! Shape tomorrow. ✨🌍 📢 This week, Natalia R., our Board Director, had the pleasure of participating in the Executive Training Programme in Anti-corruption, Transparency, and Public Integrity in Berlin! 🌍✨ The training, part of the USAID/Central Europe Program - Rule of Law Activity (CEP ROLA), was funded by the USAID United States Agency for International Development and implemented by Dexis Consulting Group and the @Hertie School of Public Affairs 📢 Hertie School We covered crucial topics such as understanding and measuring corruption, anti-corruption legislation, conflict of interests, transparency, public procurement, and corruption prevention.
