“Breathe in… breathe out.” 🌬️ Our annual Respiratory Therapy Café Session hosted about 40 #students from junior colleges, polytechnics, and secondary schools who wanted to know more about a career in respiratory therapy. The Café Session, complete with tea time snacks and bubble tea, buzzed with insightful panel dialogues and enriching #networking opportunities ☕️🥪🍰 Students gained invaluable perspectives from respiratory therapists and current #scholars on what drew them to the field of respiratory therapy, the interesting aspects of their #studies and #work, and their key takeaways from their #career journeys thus far. It was a golden chance for students to get a comprehensive view of the discipline and what a career in #RespiratoryTherapy could look like. The networking session gave students the chance to chat about their interests, explore potential career paths in public healthcare, and understand how MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) can support them in fulfilling those aspirations. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! The MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) Human Resources & Talent Development Division plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of #healthcare professionals through a variety of #scholarships in nursing, medicine, allied health, pharmacy, community care, and healthcare administration for both undergraduate and postgraduate students 🎓 As part of our annual tradition, the #MOHH Healthcare Scholarships team organised a Dinner & Dance that brought together 95 of our healthcare #scholars — 28 in-service and 67 in-flight — for a memorable evening of #celebration and camaraderie 🎊 The night saw everyone dressed to the nines as they enjoyed good food, great company, and impressive performances. CEO Anthony Tan and Deputy CEO and CHRO Christine Kho joined in the fun, and presented the “Best Dressed” awards and tokens of appreciation to recognise contributions of our scholars to their #community 🎤🎶🎵 A big thank you to everyone who made this event special, and to our scholars who inspire us with their achievements and dedication to making our healthcare happen ✨

Tackling #FoodWaste: A Step Towards a #Sustainable Future 🌽🍅 For our latest sustainability initiative at MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore), we invited Green Nudge to conduct a Food Waste Composting workshop, where about 50 #MOHH colleagues were introduced to innovative ways to combat food waste. They were asked to bring reusable containers and kitchen scraps from home so that they could try out various #composting methods themselves, including #DIY techniques that anyone can use at home. The #workshop taught attendees how to convert kitchen scraps like vegetable peels and fruit rinds into nutrient-rich compost, turning #waste into valuable resources for growing fresh produce. With food waste being one of Singapore’s pressing #environmental challenges, composting can be a fun and easy way to start cultivating more sustainable #habits in our daily lives ♻️

#Sustainability in #healthcare is essential for driving progress in #environmental stewardship and patient well-being 🌿💚 The CHI - Centre for Healthcare Innovation Sustainability Academy, which was unveiled by Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu last month, aims to foster a robust sustainability culture within Singapore’s health system. As a supporting partner for the Academy, MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) looks forward to co-developing and co-delivering a curriculum that is customised and relevant to the Singapore healthcare context. Equipping healthcare professionals across #Singapore with essential sustainability capabilities is a pivotal step towards greening the sector as we work towards an effective and efficient healthcare ecosystem and future-proof it for generations to come. 50 MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) colleagues got to try their hands at giving single-use plastics a new lease of life in an educational and interactive workshop earlier this month ♻️ Organised as part of the #MOHH efforts in supporting the #SingaporeGreenPlan2030, the workshop gave attendees a better understanding of the challenges associated with #recycling single-use plastics and disposables. Colleagues then got to transform shredded plastics into functional items like rulers, key chains, coasters, and small plant pots with the injection moulding machines Green Nudge brought to us – the hands-on experience was definitely not as easy as it seems! #Sustainability #PlasticWaste #RecycleResponsibly 🌍💚
