In the lead-up to COP30 in Belém, industry leaders and experts gathered at the latest #Ecosperity Conversations held in partnership with PwC Singapore to examine the challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of #climateaction.    Ravi Menon, Singapore’s Ambassador for Climate Action, shared that while the world cannot disregard short-term political headwinds in the climate space, it is nature that will ultimately call the shots. Countries and companies alike should think carefully about where they need to be in the long-term and take action to prepare for a low-carbon future.    During an engaging and candid fireside chat featuring Ravi Menon and Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, Executive Director & CEO, Temasek, moderated by Eu-Lin Fang, Partner and Sustainability and Climate Change Leader, PwC Singapore, the speakers called for a paradigm shift in thinking about climate leadership. Instead of having a single country to lead, leadership on climate action can be exercised in multiple ways, including through public-private partnerships and ground-up movements and the "coalition" of willing.     The speakers discussed the importance of transition planning to balance short-term business considerations with the long-term strategic need to prepare for an inevitably climate-impaired world.
