Don’t miss out tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Our Executive Director will be making a contribution to this conversation.
Uganda’s startup funding surged from US$42 million in 2019 to a record US$70 million in 2022, accumulating US$181 million over the last five years. While the digital economy in Uganda is still emerging, this growth highlights significant potential. Key initiatives, such as the Ugandan Startup Act and Digital Transformation Roadmap continue to demonstrate the government's dedication to creating a conducive environment for digital transformation. However, unlocking this potential requires substantial investment, cutting-edge innovation, and top-tier talent. Join us tomorrow, October 25, at 11 AM (EAT) for a discussion on Uganda’s digital economy with leading industry experts. Hear directly from Collin Babirukamu, Director of e-Government Services at Nita Uganda, Michael Niyitegeka, Director, Refactory Academy, and Flavia Eleanor Kasenge, COO at EzeeMoney Ltd. They will share insights into the progress of these government and private sector initiatives driving the digital economy and what lies ahead. This conversation is essential for anyone looking to invest, innovate, or lead in Uganda’s digital ecosystem. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from the key experts driving change!
