Project Completion at Harvesters Way, Edinburgh 🏠👏 We’re pleased to have successfully completed a major refurbishment and energy efficiency project for The City of Edinburgh Council at Harvesters Way, delivering significant energy efficiency improvements for the residents. This project involved a range of upgrades, including: ✅ New roofing, gutters, windows, and doors ✅ External wall insulation and rendering system for enhanced thermal performance ✅ Refurbishment of common internal and external areas ✅ Modern electrical works and upgraded heating systems with new boilers ✅ Removal and Renewal of 21 Kitchen and Bathrooms ✅ Internal and external painting works These improvements not only reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption but also play a key role in tackling fuel poverty, providing residents with warmer, more comfortable homes. All work was completed in line with PAS 2030:2019 to ensure long-term sustainability and compliance. 📢 Contract Win 📢 Due to successful tendering and strong relationships, we are pleased to announce that we have secured a £1m contract with Falkirk Council for works in the Denny area of Falkirk. This project includes traditional roof renewal works, roughcasting, and rain/wastewater system upgrades. However, the focus will be on extensive internal works such as windows, doors, rot/structural repairs, internal insulation (walls, floors, and loft), and kitchen and bathroom replacements. The works are expected to span approximately six months and we look forward to getting started 👏

A nice project we finished last year for A C Whyte & Co. One of many projects Muir Decorators LTD have done for AC Whyte over the last few years. Our team carried out all the Painting works to the internal communal close areas and all the external render, downpipes, garden fences etc . These blocks of flats were in the Edinburgh Murrayburn and Westerhailes areas. A C Whyte & Co have done a fabulous job transforming these properties 👍

🎄🎁 Today, we had the privilege of visiting ‘The Night Before Christmas’ charity in Annbank, Ayrshire, where we dropped off gifts kindly donated by our team. This amazing organisation embodies the spirit of giving all year round, supporting countless families thanks to the generosity of their supporters. Their impact is incredible—this year alone, they’ve already made a difference in over 5,000 lives! We were blown away by their efforts and how smoothly their dedicated and kind team operates, volunteering their time every week to bring joy to so many. We’re currently delivering roof and render works nearby in New Cumnock on behalf of East Ayrshire Council and it was humbling to support such a meaningful cause. As the charity says: ✨ "We believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, and we work hard to make that a reality for as many children as possible." ✨ We’re so proud to have contributed in a small way to their mission. This week, we held our quarterly meeting for the Glasgow Employment and Skills Board at the Chamber HQ. It was fantastic to see a packed room filled with exciting and insightful discussions. We reflected on the progress made through key DYW Glasgow and Chamber projects over the past few months and set our plans for the year ahead. We were also pleased to welcome Kevin Rush and Michael McNally, who led a thought-provoking discussion on adopting a regional approach to skills in the Glasgow City Region. 📢 Project Announcement We’re delighted to have secured a new roofing replacement project for various properties in Barnton, Edinburgh. Starting early 2025, this project is an opportunity to strengthen our partnership with The Link Group. We look forward to delivering high-quality improvements for our client, that will make a meaningful difference to the community.
