📆 The first month of the year has flown by, and what a month it’s been! Here’s a look back at what we’ve been up to: 🎉 Company Kick-Off & Team Sessions We started the year by bringing everyone together in Manchester for our Company Kick-Off, followed by departmental sessions to set the stage for 2025. A great way to align, connect, and get inspired for the year ahead! 💛 A New Charity Partnership We’re proud to announce our exclusive partnership with Mustard Tree, a charity tackling poverty and preventing homelessness. This year, we’re committed to fundraising, volunteering, and running an ongoing collection of food and essentials. Our volunteering days start next month, and the team can’t wait to get involved! 💙 Blue Monday Wellbeing Initiatives To beat the January blues, Sarah Chadbourne (Chartered FCIPD) and Rachael Hicketts (née Humphries) hosted an Intentions Session, where we set personal goals for the year (with quarterly check-ins!). We also welcomed back Szymon the masseuse for relaxing chair massages. 🐉 Lunar New Year Celebrations Our office marked the occasion with a delicious stir-fry and fortune cookies. 🐶 Office Dog Policy Update! Kate O'Hara’s dog, Rory, stole the show once again, and due to popular demand, we’ve officially updated our policy to allow a furry friend in the office twice a month. A win for all dog lovers! Team Achievements & Milestones 👋 New Faces & Familiar Ones A big welcome to Daniel Dombrovskij, who joined us this month! And a warm “welcome back” to Daragh Allen, returning after some time travelling. 🎉 Work Anniversaries Worth Celebrating Shoutout to Harry O'Neill, Alek Modro, Ursula Gonzalez, and Stefanie Doukakis, who all hit their one-year anniversaries with us—time flies when you’re doing great work! And a special mention to Charles Haworth, who marked an incredible eight years at AccessPay. 🌟 Employee of the Month Big congratulations to Christopher Bardwell-Doughty for taking the top spot this month! And hats off to Charlotte Smith, our well-deserved runner-up—both absolutely smashed it in January. That’s a wrap on January. Looking forward to seeing what February brings! #Teamwork #CompanyCulture #EmployeeSuccess #Wellbeing #Fundraising

Our CEO, Anish Kapoor, was featured in TMI - Treasury Management International, highlighting why the transition to ISO 20022 demands immediate attention from corporates. With more than 70 countries already adopting this new payment messaging format, the risks of delayed preparation are clear: failed payments, disrupted cash flow, and strained supplier relationships. 💡 Anish shares why this critical shift can’t be ignored and how businesses can successfully navigate the change. Read the full article below.

As highlighted in our Finance Trends Report 2025, ISO 20022 is at the heart of the corporate treasury transformation. 🛡️ While many treasury teams are feeling the pressure of compliance deadlines—such as the CHAPS Purpose of Payment (PoP) codes required by May 2025—there’s an immense opportunity to embrace this standard as a driver for operational efficiency, fraud prevention, and better customer journeys. 📢 "ISO 20022 isn’t just a compliance hurdle; it’s a chance to unlock growth, reduce costs, and streamline operations." – Naresh Aggarwal, Policy & Technical Director at the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Naresh's insights remind us that: ✅ Compliance with ISO 20022 is essential but offers benefits far beyond regulations. ✅ Structured, richer data improves reconciliation, automates processes, and enables strategic decision-making. ✅ Treasurers must actively engage in their finance transformation journeys to stay ahead. Ready to position your organisation for success? Watch Naresh's take on the report and explore the opportunities ISO 20022 can bring to your treasury team.
