Meet Theo Chaudoir 👋 As part of our project for student accommodation provider, urbanest, at their brand new, passivhaus-certified building in Battersea, Acrylicize commissioned Theo Chaudoir to create a bespoke series of artworks that bring a fresh, locally inspired narrative to the space. Our determination to support early-career artists in commercial projects lies at the heart of all we do - it provides them with invaluable professional experience, and introduces new voices into the creative landscape. By offering opportunities like this, we can bridge the gap between education and professional practice, giving young artists the confidence and exposure needed to establish themselves in the industry. Energy efficiency and environmental responsibility go beyond architecture in this brand new space, influencing every aspect of student life. Hidden moments, lenticular pieces, and colour-filled murals painted on walls and columns throughout the building tell a story of environmental mindfulness, encouraging students to recognise and embrace sustainable living. Blending nature and technology: The YY building’s interactive technobiophilic installation 🌿 London’s Canary Wharf is renowned for its towering skyscrapers and financial institutions, but the newly developed YY Building introduces a fresh perspective on commercial spaces—one that seamlessly integrates nature-inspired elements with cutting-edge technology ⚡ At the heart of this vision is a 40-metre-long interactive lighting installation, designed by Acrylicize, which explores the dynamic relationship between digital innovation and the natural world to create an ever-changing experience for tenants and visitors alike. Global Mural Series: a unique, united, local approach to workplace design, at Spotify’s offices in New York.
