It's countdown ⏱️ to the start of the new 🌿 Biodiversity Literacy for Travel & Tourism 🌿 free workshops provided by Animondial and ABTA. Not at COP16 but want to follow the dialogue? Yesterday, Tourism attendees gathered for 'Contributions of Sustainable Nature-based Tourism to achieve Target 3', with the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) and Protected Areas Specialist (TAPAS). The outcome of this event, that the Animondial team helped organise, was a consensus between conservationists, local community leaders and tourism representatives that a collaborative approach will help to deliver the UN Biodiversity Plan. In particular, Target 3, the expansion of protected areas and finance for their effective management.
