As part of London Fashion Week, we were proud to make history by hosting a first-of-its-kind runway show pitch side at Emirates Stadium.
A Journey of Triumphs by Foday Dumbuya with Labrum London built on the launch of our iconic away kit together in July. The kit, featuring pan-African colours with a zig-zag pattern inspired by 1920s African art, created by adidas in collaboration with Labrum London celebrates our African players and our passionate African supporters.
The show elevated and championed diverse talent and our rich cultural heritage – in Islington and around the world.
Under a special light show in N5, grime artist and Arsenal supporter, Ghetts opened the show with a powerful spoken word recital. Declan Rice and fellow Gooners including Clara Amfo, Mawaan Rizwan, Amanda Reifer and Michael Dapaah all walked the runway in pieces inspired by football culture.
Balimaya Project provided an incredible live soundtrack for the show.
The event brought culture and community together, the front row featured our men’s first-team players Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly, Arsenal legend Alex Scott, Wretch 32, Bashy, Eni Aluko, Himesh Patel and Micheal Ward.
Football and fashion are influential forces in our global community. It was a privilege to bring them together during London Fashion Week - an iconic moment in our city’s calendar - to inspire connection and a sense of belonging for our supporters around the world.
