Meet Jessica Leigh Jones MBE, an AI developer and winner of our AI Tools for Education competition winners who's revolutionising engineering education. Jessica’s innovative AI tool is helping further education teachers deliver better formative assessment in engineering - reducing admin time and allowing teachers to focus on what they do best: inspiring the next generation of engineers. These new tools are empowering teachers. By handling repetitive tasks, these tools give teachers back valuable time to build those crucial relationships with students that make all the difference.

Yesterday was National Supported Internships Day 👩🏭👷♂️👩💻 Supported internships are a work-based study programmes for young people aged 16-24 with SEND. They provide young people with sustained, paid employment and the skills they need for work through learning in the workplace and the support of an expert job coach. We have invested £18m to double the number of supported internships and improve quality and consistency of the programme across the country over the last three years. Last week Schools Minister Catherine McKinnell showed her support for #NSID2025, and particularly Harry Georgiou's work, in a parliamentary debate. Find out more ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/eVGZA2uw
It is amazing that National Supported Internship Day has been recognised within this debate in government, recognising the hard work and achievements of each individual partner’s commitment to light up the country. #NSID2025 #supportedinternships #Nationalsupportedinternshipday
