Meet Tia!   Tia is a Floor Manager at our Greengate’s Store in Bradford.   With six years of experience at B&M, Tia’s journey speaks volumes about her dedication and career growth. Starting in the replenishment team, she quickly advanced to roles across the including checkout and supervisor positions before joining the store management team. Her passion for retail, combined with a previous background in fast-paced hospitality, has shaped her into a versatile and committed leader.   Tia said ‘We have a great team which makes me look forward to coming into work each day. My team recently got recognition for store standards on the Regions ‘Perfect day’ and I’m proud to have won the Colleague of the Quarter award myself!’    She was asked to describe B&M in three words, she said fun, fast, and friendly!   Tia embodies our principles in everything she does, creating a work environment where her team thrives.   #Retail #CareerDevelopment #Teamwork

Meet Rahul! 🎓 Rahul, a dedicated student at Liverpool John Moores University, joined us in September for a placement year, bridging the gap between his academic studies and practical experience. The transition from university to the professional world can be tough, but a placement offers the perfect chance to gain hands-on experience and explore potential career paths. During his time with us, Rahul has gained invaluable insights into the world of work and the fast-paced environment of our Finance Department. With the support of his team, he’s been learning the ropes and adapting to the dynamic nature of the business. Reflecting on his journey so far, Rahul shared that his confidence has grown, and the experience has fuelled his ambition for pursuing a career in this field. He’s also excited to announce that he will be taking on a new role within the team in the coming weeks!
