Q1 2025's crowning moment! Thank you Guaranteed Irish for naming Ballymore this year's Irish House Champion. This award recognises our ongoing commitment to supporting the Irish supply chain, choosing local suppliers and businesses wherever possible, and building homes that reflect the values of trust, provenance, and community. With our first Passive House homes delivered at Drumnigh Oaks and an urban forest underway at Sea Gardens through our partnership with the 100 Million Trees Project, sustainability remains our true north. As Patrick Phelan, Managing Director of Ballymore Ireland, put it: “Winning this award is a huge honour and a reflection of our commitment to prioritising Irish suppliers wherever possible. We are proud to collaborate with local businesses, delivering exceptional homes while driving economic growth and fostering sustainable communities.” Thank you to our Ballymore people, our partners and suppliers; we will continue to champion local in all we do. #GuaranteedIrish #SustainableDevelopment #IrishHomes #Ballymore #Sustainability #CommunityBuilding

About us
Ballymore is an independently-minded property developer with a multi award-winning portfolio of some of Europe’s largest urban development projects. A privately-owned company, Ballymore was established by founder, Chairman and CEO Sean Mulryan in Dublin in 1982. Taking a visionary approach to development and placemaking, Ballymore’s projects are renowned for best-in-class design and innovation, winning 40 top industry awards in the last three years alone. The business’ resolute commitment to quality is embedded in every detail of its projects. From conception through to delivery and then estate management, Ballymore maintains the quality its residents and tenants expect, and is one of the only developers in the UK that has its own estate management teams. Ballymore has significant land holdings across the UK, Ireland and Europe. As a result of its independent nature, the company has the flexibility to identify opportunities, pursue challenging projects and make bold decisions. This has resulted in a number of pioneering projects, including the world’s first ‘sky pool’ at Embassy Gardens, and a European-first for English National Ballet’s purpose-built new home at London City Island. Ballymore puts culture and the arts at the heart of many of its developments - to create places with soul where people live, work, and belong. Live developments include London City Island, Embassy Gardens, Wardian London, Dublin Landings, Goodluck Hope, Royal Wharf and Three Snowhill. Bishopsgate Goodsyard has been shortlisted in both the Heritage and Mixed-Use categories for the coveted annual Planning Awards, honouring those who pioneer in the planning and placemaking sectors. We're grateful to the judging panel for recognising the forward-thinking vision of this East London site. In partnership with Hammerson, we’re transforming this historic brownfield site in Shoreditch into a seven-acre mixed-use neighbourhood, blending world-class architecture, urban greenery, and cultural vibrancy. Working closely with heritage specialists Gensler and Chris Dyson Architects, with input from FaulknerBrowns, Eric Parry Architects, and Buckley Gray Yeoman, we're ensuring the site's industrial past as a railway goods depot built in the 19th century gets reimagined into a modern urban space encouraging creativity that the area is known for today. - 500+ new homes, designed to reflect the character and energy of Shoreditch - 1.4 million sq ft of commercial space, setting the stage for a new creative quarter - A restored Braithwaite Viaduct, reimagined as a dynamic public realm - A new elevated park, seamlessly integrating nature and city Thank you to our Ballymore people and partners for delivering Bishopsgate Goodsyard as a place where heritage shapes the future with intention. This week, Ballymore joined industry leaders, investors, and city-makers at mipim world, the world's leading real estate conference in Cannes. As a developer with a long-term commitment to shaping sustainable, design-led communities, MIPIM is a key moment for us to engage in the discussions that will define the future of urban living. For Ballymore, it's an opportunity to showcase our vision, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to the wider dialogue on how we can deliver better places to live in London and beyond. London has never been better placed to deliver on the growth agenda and the much needed new homes pledged by the Government. Thank you to all the connections we made and strengthened at MIPIM 2025; we look forward to building on these conversations, collaborating with partners, and continuing to set the standard for thoughtful, future-focused development. ***Image: Ballymore's Developments Director, Steve Tennant, and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.

We’re always finding new ways to support natural environments in and around our Ballymore neighbourhoods, and one recent initiative at Sea Gardens in Bray stands out. Here, we became the first Irish property developer to partner with the 100 Million Trees Project, planting a native Irish tree mini-forest. Led by our Deputy Managing Director in Ireland, Linda Mulryan, Ballymore colleagues joined local schoolchildren to plant the trees—marking the start of our commitment to creating even more urban mini-forests across our developments. Last night, Ballymore took home top prize at the Business Post's National-Property Awards, winning the competitive Developer of the Year category. The passion, dedication, and vision of our Ballymore people shaped communities we've built for over four decades, and this industry recognition is a testament to their best-in-class approach across the board. Patrick Phelan, Managing Director in Ireland, and Deputy Managing Director Linda Mulryan accepted the award on the night; with Pat saying: “Ballymore’s story began in Ireland over 40 years ago, when Sean and Bernardine Mulryan founded the company in Kildare in 1982. Since then, we have grown into a leading force in the industry, creating vibrant, resilient places where innovation and community come together." From our Irish roots, this award is a proud reminder of where we started and our steadfast commitment to quality, innovation, sustainability and community. Thank you to the Business Post and the judging panel for this honour. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees who continue to shape the built environment in inspiring ways. Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of hosting the next generation of property innovators and industry changemakers! 25 Year 10 pupils from Kensington Aldridge Academy joined us at our Head Office for Unloc’s Young Innovator's Challenge. The day was packed with hands-on learning—our team's young professionals shared insights about their careers, we explored the property development industry and community engagement methods, plus a guided tour of our nearby Wardian London development. The event culminated in a fun challenge where students focussed on Ballymore's upcoming development in Ladbroke Grove, Project Flourish, and working creatively in groups to consider ways to amplify the voices of local young people. Our Ballymore people and the Project Flourish team look forward to working with more local schools and organisations like Unloc in future. Learn more about Project Flourish: https://lnkd.in/ejAkJT3Y
