The new build progress is coming along nicely! The new facility will provide a four-storey, high-tech Construction and Engineering Centre. It will be equipped with the full range of services students need to be successful. Local people will be able to access these state-of-the-art facilities to upskill and access their career ambitions. We can't wait to bring all students onto one vibrant College campus

At West Herts College Group we’ve been working with Bodyswaps for some time. We have always focused on software where the virtual reality format confers an educational advantage over other methods of training. VR is great for developing 'soft' skills through immersive experiences. Our students have been developing their interview skills, including practising techniques to manage anxiety, and we’ve now achieved the ‘Zen Master’ badge!

Barnfield College Phase 2 Groundwork’s Update: Avenue Works: ✅Kerbs installed. ✅Resin footpaths installed. ✅Lighting Columns & Lighting Bollards installed. ✅ Reinforced Road installed-(awaiting top soil finish) ⏳Levels built up for brick paving areas. ✅Link Wall Complete. ✅Concrete Bases & Metal Edging installed in soft landscaping areas. Car Park/Access Road: ✅Base Course Down. (Awaiting Surface Course) ✅Electric Chargers Installed. ✅Bollards installed. ✅Lamppost’s installation completed. South Elevation/ External Compound Area: ⏳Brick Paving started. ✅External compound facade installed. ⏳Phase 2 & 3, Boundary fence to be complete. ⏳Bike Shelter to be installed.
