BB Partnership’s scheme for to add an additional storey to an existing apartment block in Kilburn High Road has been approved by Westminster Council. The proposed scheme will add four new units to the existing building. The scheme was consented as part of an application for Prior Approval under the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) - Schedule 2, Part 20, Class AA. As part of the application to demonstrate that the proposal met the requirements to be classed as Prior Approval, many thanks to the consultant team that worked with us on the project – Flood Risk - RGP Acoustic Assessment – Acoustics Plus Transport - Caneparo Associates Daylight/Sunlight - Right of Light Consulting Contamination - Brown2Green

Clifton Hill, St John’s Wood, London, NW8 Work continues on our refurbishment project of a semi-detached villa located in the St John’s Wood Conservation Area. Due to planning restrictions within the St John’s Wood Conservation Area, the project involves modifying floor levels to maximise headroom. The second-floor level has been adjusted to create usable space within the converted roof, while the first-floor level is being lowered to ensure appropriate headroom. The scope of work includes: Extending the property at lower ground floor level Converting the internal garage into habitable space Lowering the existing lower ground floor Comprehensive internal refurbishment External changes include landscaping to the front and rear gardens and the addition of sliding gates. Chester Terrace, Regents Park Works have now commenced on-site for our latest project—refurbishing and extending a Grade I listed townhouse designed by John Nash in Chester Terrace. Dating from around 1825, the property sits within the Regent’s Park Conservation Area and forms part of the historic Regent’s Park Crown Estate development. While the terrace’s iconic stucco façade remains a key element of its historic significance, much of the building’s interior, roof, and rear elevation were reconstructed in the 1960s. The scheme for which both planning and listed building consent have been obtained includes the addition of a roof terrace and the lowering of the floor level in the pavement vaults to create additional habitable space. We’re pleased to share that BB Partnership has been appointed to refurbish an apartment in North Gate, an Edwardian mansion block located in the St John's Wood Conservation, built circa 1907. This will be the third apartment we have worked on in the building, further adding to our portfolio of refurbishments in London’s mansion blocks. The project will include the addition of comfort cooling and changes to the windows which will require planning approval along with changes to the interior of the property including the addition of timber floor finishes. As North Gate is classified as a High-Risk Building under the Building Safety Act, we will be applying to the Building Safety Regulator for approval as part of the process.
