October is Global Diversity Awareness Month, a time to reflect on the strength of our differences and recognize the advancements that can be made when diversity of ethnicities, cultures, heritages, and experiences are embraced throughout the workplace.
Diverse teams drive innovation, creativity, and deeper insights, challenging conventional thinking and fueling growth. It’s important to not just acknowledge diversity- but celebrate it.
In our latest Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Annual Report, we highlighted several ways we’re prioritizing inclusion in action, including:
✔️ Increasing our commitment to growing a diverse supply chain
✔️ Expanding our CORE learning offerings available to employees to include sessions on inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, and cultural intelligence
✔️ Creating a #LetsTalkCulture series featuring Baker Hughes leaders to hear first-hand how they’re embedding culture into their teams
✔️ Supporting nonprofit organizations and social change around the world through the Baker Hughes Foundation
✔️ Hosting numerous events in partnerships with our Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) and customers, centered around DE&I initiatives
