    With the digital advertising ecosystem becoming more complex, traditional methods of measuring ad performance are evolving. Marketers need more accurate and holistic insights on how to effectively measure across channels for better business growth. Blis' Lawrence Best, VML's Deanna Behrens, The Knot Worldwide's Kiara Kempski, and Taoti Creative's Hyla London explored the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in advertising measurement during this ADWEEK House discussion presented by Blis. "Measurement is an evolution, but it really needs to be aligned with what is your marketing strategy," said London. "I think the planning and the audience building itself is intrinsically linked to the measurement aspect of it so if you can establish that synergy and harmony between the two that’s when you're setting yourself up for success," said Best. "No matter what the touch point is within your company, how are you getting that first-party data in so you can actually talk to them and track them better? You're more in control of that data, so that's something you always have to have in mind. How can we continue to build that database?," said Kempski.

    Shaken and Stirred! 🍸 Our annual cocktail-making event in Sydney, the Golden Shaker, saw new changes and additions made to the event making it the biggest and best to date. This year saw Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland join the fun for the first time ever hosting mixology classes for our clients while Sydney hosted the large format head-to-head agency competition at Employees Only Sydney. Sydney had six agencies competing in front of a 125-strong crowd from the media industry. Congratulations to this year's winner, The SPEED Agency, who took home the highly coveted Blis Golden Shaker trophy and bragging rights.
