A year ago, we shared our excitement about connecting with the Holyrood community - just a stone’s throw from our Southampton studio. Since then, through our ongoing support of 'We Are Holyrood', we've seen first hand how creative opportunities can transform communities. Together, we’ve helped deliver:  ✨ 24 regular dance sessions for young people  ✨ 12 drop-in community sessions ✨ 1 film project – 'The Adventures of Holyrood' ✨ 1 dance performance project – 'Live at the Library' ✨ The Hub, a shared space for creativity and connection This project has deepened our understanding of the people who live and work around us, reinforcing our commitment to social sustainability and community-led change. It’s been humbling, eye-opening, and inspiring - and we’re proud to play a part in it. 🍗 Slim Chickens has landed in Leicester Square! 🏨 We’re thrilled to see Slim Chickens UK open as part of the 11-bedroom extension to the historic Victory House Hotel, operated by Criterion Capital. Boyle & Summers were responsible for the shell works, including the subdivision of the mezzanine level to expand the hotel’s accommodation. Working within a landmark building in one of London’s most iconic squares presented its challenges, but through careful coordination and problem-solving, the scheme has been successfully delivered. ✅ Great to see this project come to life in such a prestigious setting! 🎉 #london #leicestersquare #architecture #hotel #restaurant

🎉 Celebrating six months in our new Bristol office 🎉 What an incredible evening we had last night! Our hugely successful drinks reception marked an equally successful six-month milestone in our south-west office, located at Clockwise Offices in the fantastic Grade II* listed Generator Building 🏢 The reception was a chance to thank all those who have supported us during our 2½ years in the city, so far. #Winchester is now serving up a trio of tasty new treats! The final food outlet has now opened in the former Debenhams on Winchester High Street, marking the full transformation of this iconic space. While it's always sad to see a retail giant go, high streets must evolve - and this comprehensive refurbishment has breathed new life into the unit. ✨ Working closely with Winchester City Council’s Historic Environment Officer and Management & Construction Services Ltd, every detail - from elevational design to materials - was carefully considered to respect Winchester’s historic charm. Nando's UK & IRE 🔥🍗, Five Guys Europe 🍔🍟, and PizzaExpress 🍕🍷 have also embraced a sensitive approach to fit-out, signage, and branding. This major 50,000 sq ft revamp involved a full strip-out, asbestos removal, dismantling of M&E systems, and a return to an empty shell before being rebuilt for its new purpose. Our Associate Director, Steve Smith, is currently in training for the ABP Southampton Marathon 🏃♂️, and running for a great cause, Prostate Cancer UK.   With just over a month to go, he's been racking up the miles around the city, and it's fantastic to see just how many clients, consultants, collaborators and projects he's passed along his latest 36km route.   Whilst Boyle & Summers was only formed in 2014, our senior team have been based together in #Southampton for much longer, so it's perhaps not so surprising that our relationship with the city, past, present and future is so ingrained.   We love where we work, and we work where we love, but we couldn't do it without such an amazing network of contacts. Another astonishing achievement from Leigh-Sara Timberlake and Shirley Wynne-Jones. Table: firstly Savills and Gavin Hall hosted the latest Regenerate South meeting at their offices where the next steps for the group were agreed. Good to see Justin Galloway, Leah Putman, Victoria Yates, Gary Rumbell, Jonathan Kiddle, Will Purvis, Matthew Turpin and many more. Room: the Jubilee Room off Westminster Hall where speeches by Mark Perry, Rt Hon Caroline Nokes MP, Dame Caroline Dinenage MP DBE celebrated the work done, and championed ongoing efforts, by a wide range of people both present and absent on the evening. Great energy in the room contributed to by those including Jillian Kay, Millie Earl, Martin Tod, Vikki Slade, Alison Barnes FRSA FLI, Jon Gateley, Tim Hancock, Lee Peck, Mark Ind, FIH and many many more.
