🌊💧Today, we hosted an insightful Innovation Focus Group, where our speakers led dynamic discussions on engaging topics. 🗒️ Key points from the meeting included: • Tethys Purity: Innovations in continuous toxicity monitoring, rapid contaminant identification and networked data collection and analysis for comprehensive water testing, offering a cost-effective and broad-spectrum detection system. • Updates from Ofwat’s Innovation Fund: new competition streams, and a focus on strategic areas such as bioresources, with an emphasis on effective implementation and collaboration across the water sector. • Challenges in scaling up innovations and water companies exploring new ways to engage with their supply chain, including "shop window" initiatives to bridge the gap between small-scale trials and large-scale implementation. 🌟 This was the last focus group meeting for our outgoing convener.
