BCS attended the Political New Year's Reception, hosted by the @German Data Centre Association in Berlin, where experts from industry and politics emphasised the need for affordable, sustainable electricity and stronger political support for data centres. Germany's digital infrastructure is crucial for economic growth, but challenges in energy and infrastructure policies threaten progress. The incoming government will have to act swiftly with clear policies to secure the digital future of the country.

BCS Lands in Düsseldorf!! We are delighted to announce the continuation of our expansion with our first major project in Düsseldorf! We are providing consultancy services for a high-priority fit-out project for one of our major clients. This project is of significant importance, and our team is dedicated to ensuring its success through tailored guidance and support at every stage. North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), particularly Düsseldorf, is emerging as an attractive alternative to Frankfurt due to its strategic location, existing infrastructure, and repurposing industrial sites. The area's skilled workforce and potential for sustainable development can drive economic growth, offering new job opportunities and revitalising the region. Together, we aim to raise funds to donate a minibus to the Gruppo Sportivo Dilettantistico Non Vedenti Milano ONLUS, a sports club dedicated to empowering blind and visually impaired youth through sports and activities.   This minibus will be a lifeline for these incredible individuals, helping them travel to training sessions, competitions, and community events—giving them the freedom and opportunity to pursue their dreams. BCS participated in a charity spin event to show our support for our dear friend, Ed Cooke, in his ongoing battle against Motor Neuron Disease (MND). The purpose of the event was to raise vital funds for MND research, helping to advance scientific discoveries and treatment options for this challenging and often devastating condition. We came together as a community to honour Ed's strength and resilience, and to contribute to the fight for a cure.    It was a fantastic (and sweaty!) event to be involved in, and we extend a big thank you to all that contributed to its success. We recently hosted another thrilling and engaging team-building event in Frankfurt, where our colleagues came together for an evening full of slips, trips, and, fortunately, no injuries! The event was filled with laughter and camaraderie as we navigated the ice rink, showcasing our skills (and lack thereof) in a fun and light hearted atmosphere. The event was expertly led by our Regional Head and resident professional ice skater, Alex Mariage, who guided us through the evening’s activities with both grace and humour. Alex’s experience on the ice made all the difference, as he helped boost confidence, encouraged teamwork, and ensured everyone had a great time, regardless of their skating abilities. It was a fantastic evening that not only strengthened our bonds but also reminded us how important it is to support each other—whether on the ice or in the workplace!
