It's not to late to grab a ticket for next week's Wind Energy Ireland's Annual conference. Once you have your ticket, make sure you contact Leo Bertels who will be at the conference. He's looking forward to discussing how offshore wind development can be accelerated to help reduce Irish dependence on imported fossil fuels. The conference is in Dublin on 16 and 17 January. https://lnkd.in/e7qvuYcs

The slide pack from the Scottish Renewables (SR) virtual Wet Storage/Inshore Anchorage: Legal & Licensing workshop are now available. The workshop was developed and facilitated by BVG Associates in collaboration with SR. We prepared a series of expert speakers on the subject from the Scottish Government's Marine Directorate- Licensing Operations Team (MD-LOT), Scottish Offshore Wind Ports Alliance (SOWPA), Burness Paull LLP, Thistle Wind Partners (representing the North East and East Ornithology Group NEEOG) and Offshore Solutions Group. Speakers offered their perspectives on licensing requirements and the current state of play in the context of the SG MD-LOT’s draft website text for the storage and assembly of turbines, which SR provided a response to and is currently under review. https://lnkd.in/etxMDjVP
