How can organisations create a more inclusive workplace to support women in their careers? At Cambridge, we believe in building a workplace where everyone belongs. Simran Kalra, our Director of People & Culture for South Asia, recently shared her thoughts on what organisations can do to support women. "An inclusive workplace goes beyond policies—it’s about culture. Organisations need to actively listen to their people, create mentorship and sponsorship opportunities for women, and build leadership pipelines that reflect true diversity. Flexibility, psychological safety, and equal opportunities are non-negotiables. “Most importantly, inclusion should not be a women’s issue; it’s everyone’s responsibility." 📖 Read more insights from Simran and other women at Cambridge University Press & Assessment: https://cambrid.ge/3QOdIWD #WomensHistoryMonth #InclusionAtWork #WomenAtCambridge

Meta has turned to piracy to harvest content for its AI development, including books and journals from Cambridge authors. Meta should pay for the content it has stolen. It's essential that governments and authorities do not let big tech companies get away with taking authors' work without permission. Effective licensing approaches are in place, and tech companies can reach licensing agreements with publishers and rightsholders for use in LLMs. There are legal ways to access and use copyrighted content. Piracy is not one of them. Read our statement on Meta, LibGen and the theft of millions of books and journals: https://cambrid.ge/4l3AWG0
