About us
Welcome to the Family. Everything started on the Fell family farm in 1986, and nearly 40 years later, we remain a family run business, working with local farmers in the heart of the Cheshire Plains. With one of the largest production units in the North West, employing over 20 staff, we supply our real dairy ice cream to over 1000 outlets around the UK, including pubs, restaurants, scoop parlours, kids play centres and museums, producing up to 10,000 litres of ice cream a day. Sustainability at Heart. We look after our planet and our people. 96% of our electricity is from renewable sources, and our milk comes from a herd of Friesian cows milked less than 500 metres away. Award-Winning Products. Our multi-award-winning real dairy ice cream contains just 6 base ingredients and is pasteurised and aged in-house. We’ve created more than 40 flavours and have over 25 non-dairy options. Supporting You Every Step of the Way. We work closely with all customers to support and add value to your business, using our knowledge and experience to advise you on branding, equipment and POS set-up. Innovation & Development. Through collaboration with chefs, industry experts and brand partners, we’re always looking to innovate, bringing delicious and creative new products to our customers.

Family ice-cream business scoops record sales “Getting our products onto Harlech’s wheels has opened up much bigger markets as they supply to a much wider area taking in all of Wales, the North West and the West Midlands.” Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, which produces more than 50 flavours of real dairy ice cream, sorbets and plant-based options, is enjoying record sales having secured a distribution deal with Harlech Foodservice Ltd. The collaboration has led to 153 new stockists added in just 10 months, as Harlech Foodservice’s fleet of 65 vehicles and 250 staff has enabled the ice cream manufacturer to reach a much wider market.
