Last week we celebrated the launch of the new ‘school zone’ creating a safer and more enjoyable environment around Dalry Primary School. Pupils were entertained by performers from Think Circus CIC throughout the morning and later enjoyed free sessions with Dr Bike and the Wee Bike Library from The Bike Station. Children, parents and carers can now benefit from wider, people-friendly footpaths and reduced motor traffic at key drop-off and pick-up times along the streets either side of the school. The streets also feature art by local artist Shona Hardie, with designs inspired by ideas created with pupils at workshops last year. The scheme has been delivered thanks to a grant from Sustrans Temporary School Streets Fund. Find out more 👉 https://lnkd.in/eWSNk7ye
