🥗 NEW! LUNCH & LEARN WEBINAR: Beyond the Headlines: Real Stories and Real Change after the UK Riots 📅 Date: Tues 19th November ⏲ Time: 12:30 - 13:30 🖥 Venue: Online: Register here: https://lnkd.in/ehUciGRz The Summer UK riots have ended, we've locked up the perpetrators and we've dealt with the issues of racism, Islamophobia and anti-migrant narratives. Or have we? At ConnectFutures we want to sense, gauge and unpack where we're all really at and share diverse perspectives around this. We're simply starting one of many dialogues. We're holding our informal lunch and learn session to deepen community understanding and going beyond what we might have seen in the media. We're not wanting to provide a neat solution but are interested in starting dialogues based on where we're all really at. The webinar is part of the ongoing work that ConnectFutures will be developing over the next few months with a view to understanding, contextualising and sharing solutions (alongside others) in this space. 🙏 We’d love for you to join us. 🔗 Click here to register 🔗: https://lnkd.in/e-69zn-x Please join us and share to your networks: Eleanor Zafra Weber-Ballard Alaa Assani Sophia Chahine-Parpaillon Bishop Dr. Desmond JADDOO MBE Anastasia Fusco Jocella Peck Claude Hendrickson MBE Sacha Kent Lejdi Dervishi Kathryn Perera James Carss Colin Michel
