Mr Amer Raza, Consultant Gynaecologist, recently hosted a comprehensive robotic surgery course for external consultants at Cromwell Hospital, showcasing both hysterectomy and endometriosis procedures live from our new theatre. The course was held in collaboration with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where 16 delegates from across the UK gathered for morning lectures, before joining us for an afternoon of watching live surgery by Mr Raza. Mr Raza is an Intuitive proctor and as part of this role also runs an observers learning program. Thank you to Mr Raza and our staff for their hard work making this course a success. Need medical assistance urgently? Our Urgent Care Centre offers fast access to an emergency medicine consultant from 8am to 7pm every day for minor injuries and illnesses. On average, when patients visited the Urgent Care Centre in April 2024: They were triaged within 3 minutes of arrival at the UCC. They were seen by an Emergency Medicine Consultant within 13 minutes of arrival at the UCC. They spent 1 hour and 2 minutes at the UCC in total. We accept walk-in patients over 18, no appointment or referral necessary, for injuries and illnesses that require urgent attention. You can also call for an appointment on the day, or be referred by a GP or consultant. Please note that patients who have suffered severe life or limb-threatening injuries, have signs of a stroke, or have severe, central crushing chest pain should call 999 without delay.
