Recently, Callum and Sam met up with Decom Mission’s latest member - global clean energy developer, RWE - as we had the first of many discussions with Ian House, Benjamin Haak, Kristin Schulze and Jan-Kristof Held.   As the world’s second largest developer of offshore wind, owning and operating offshore wind turbines throughout Europe representing a total of 3.3 GW (in addition to upcoming activity in the Americas and Asia-Pacific), RWE is at the very beginning of its decommissioning journey and so is keen to engage with the valuable cross-industry learning opportunities and exchange with the wider energy sector.    Focused on a collaborative approach to offshore wind decommissioning with other developers, RWE sees its membership of Decom Mission as a critical facilitator in the development of the industry’s approach to a safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective late life and decommissioning phase.   RWE is keen to engage with suppliers that want to support its decommissioning activities and encourages interested parties to get in touch with any of the team tagged above. #offshorewind #decommissioning #renewableenergy #sustainability

Callum and Morag visited the sales team at HCS for a member catch up last week.    HCS is expert in providing services to support the P&A of subsea wells.
