Yesterday saw the keenly contested final between Douglas-Ewart High School, representing the Dumfries & Galloway region, and Eyemouth High School, representing the Borders region in the Immersive Edge Teamwork.inc online business simulation grand final. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 12 schools participated in total, 6 from each region, and all pupils and staff can be incredibly proud of their achievements across the board as they ran their own virtual company for the equivalent of 12 months of trading. 😁 During the final, each school ran the company for a further 6 months, facilitated by Neil Ballantyne & Wendy Zwart - de Peuter of Immersive Edge fame, and both turned in fantastic results comparable to many business leaders and professionals who have played the same simulation before them. Huge congratulations to pupils and staff of Eyemouth High School for winning the competition and huge thanks also to the fantastic, supportive and excellent staff of DYW Borders, DYW Dumfries & Galloway & South of Scotland Enterprise who have driven this initiative forward in these regions with stunning learning outcomes for the 12 schools who have taken part in this year's expanded competition. 👏 🏆 ➡️ What's next?
