We were proud to support last week’s EV Infrastructure and Energy Summit, where our Deputy Director for Systems Charles Wood led sessions on issues from policy change to the role of AI. “Electric Vehicles continue to forge the way for Net Zero, acting as portable batteries to make the system smarter and more cost effective, while delivering a better experience and cleaner air for all,” said Charles. “Transport decarbonisation will continue to be a core element of how Net Zero transforms our systems and our lives, so these events joining energy and transport expertise are critically important.” #EVIESummit #EVs #TransportDecarbonisation #NetZero EV Infrastructure and Energy Summit

For a century and a half, coal has played a central role in keeping Britain’s lights on and powering our economy. This demonstrates that with ambitious targets and the right policies, the UK can make meaningful changes in the energy sector.
