About us
The ev.energy app is the simpler, cheaper and greener way to charge an electric vehicle. Our algorithm enables EV drivers to charge when energy is least expensive and carbon-intensive, whilst balancing demand on the energy grid at peak times. We call it a win-win-win.

⚡🚗 NEW! ev.energy, MCE and Silicon Valley Clean Energy launch ChargeWise - California’s first EV charging program to use dynamic hourly pricing for smarter, cleaner energy use We’re thrilled to announce that ev.energy, in partnership with MCE and Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE), has launched dynamic rate tiers within managed charging programs for EV drivers as part of our ChargeWise project, backed by California Energy Commission's REDWDS grant. Together with our partners, we’re working to build a 300MW Virtual Power Plant (VPP), integrating 275,000 EVs into California’s power grid by 2027! This program will empower Californian EV drivers to save on energy bills, while supporting the state’s clean energy goals and prioritizing access for disadvantaged and low-income communities. Why ChargeWise Matters: 🌱 Clean Energy Impact: Aiming to displace the equivalent of three gas-powered plants 💸 Economic Benefits: Drivers earn up to $530/year by charging when electricity is cheapest 🤝 Energy Equity: 50% of EV enrollments from disadvantaged or low-income communities 🌍 Carbon Reduction: Preventing 1.3M+ tons of CO2 annually A huge thank you to MCE, SVCE, and all our partners working with us to drive this clean energy transformation!
