Its been a busy few months for our project team, firstly completing a series of fire door remedial works in Scotland for a valued retail client, then onto a run of classroom and toilet refresh works across a school district in the midlands. Our projects team sits outside of our core FS team with its own dedicated management and team of operatives, covering a broad range of fit out, refurbishment and refresh services. Originally set up to support our FS business our projects team under the leadership of Alan McCartney has gone from strength to strength, creating opportunities for the whole group. Today, we honor the Women in GKR Group Ltd as part of Women in Construction Week and in anticipation of International Women's Day tomorrow. At GKR Group, we are privileged to have a dedicated team of women driving our success, from our HVAC apprentice to our office staff all the way up to our Operations Manager. We have witnessed their professional growth within our organisation and have provided unwavering support throughout their careers and will continue to do so. Did you know that we self deliver the majority of our mechanical installation and fit out works? As part of our core business we work with clients to identify all plant assets, report on their condition and assist in lifecycle planning / Capex budgeting. Our in house mechanical projects team then price and deliver replacement works independently of our FS teams, similarly our fit out teams deliver stand alone or project associated fit out and refresh works. Through our associate businesses the same now applies to electrical, solar PV and EV charging installations, meaning we can tackle full M&E install packages, including fit out, with no external sub-contracting. #teamgkr

Flying start to 2025 as we receive contract renewals from a major client running well into 2026, covering a broader scope of delivery and schedule of project works. When combined with project wins across other client accounts we surpassed our first quarters project targets in week one. Many thanks to the hard work and dedication of our operations teams who have built a record beating project pipeline for 2025, whilst delivering first class service to our core FS clients. Wishing all of our dedicated team, client representatives, suppliers, sub-contractors and support partners a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2025. It's been another exciting year of growth in 2024 and despite the many challenges growth can bring, #teamgkr have pulled together to overcome and push us forward. We close out the year and look towards 2025 with a larger secured order book than even before, delivering a broader offering both in terms of capability and geography. A special thanks to our engineering and office staff who have really gone the extra mile, particularly in this last quarter, to see out the year on a high and hit the ground running in 2025.

As we come to the close of 2024, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all of GKR Group Ltd clients, contractors and employees a Happy New Year and a very prosperous 2025! 2024 for GKR has been a great year with many key contract wins and even bigger plans for 2025. All of this wouldn't be possible without the best group of engineers and office staff working hard together showing the definition of a great team. With Christmas just around the corner, #teamgkr decided to have a bit of fun in the office to get us into the festive spirit. Not only did we have baby Cameron in thanks to the lovely Nieves Martínez but we got to get our Christmas accessories on and climb into boxes on the floor to look cute... the getting back up wasn't quite so glamorous 😂 Then we decided to give the viral JC Penney photo shoot a go and what a team building exercise this was, our stomachs were in pain after all the laughing we did... would fully recommend!
