Heart of the South West LEP

The functions of the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership have transferred to the principal local authorities in Devon and Somerset as part of new Government policy, effective April 1, 2024. Somerset Council, Devon County Council, Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council will follow their own democratic processes to ensure these funds are used in line with the CIC objectives.

Data Focus 👀 One of the data sets that will be available for tracking in the South West Visitor Economy Hub will be footfall data. This will be provided by a variety of sources; some existing public sector data and some sourced via new third party contracts. Footfall data is understandably extremely useful data when it comes to giving insight into what is happening in a destination.
