🌍 Big news for Jersey! 🌍 We’re bringing two brand-new Iceland stores to the island with our partners Alliance Stores 🎉 Today marks the launch of our second store opening on the island at Broad Street with the first arriving in St.Ouen last week. These stores will be packed with all the Iceland favourites, from Greggs and TGI Fridays to My Protein and our incredible value range. Plus, there will be amazing deals across all chambers so customers can stock up and save! We’re so excited to see these stores grow and become a key part of the local community. Í þeim tilgangi hafa félögin í sameiningu stofnað félagið Ice JV ehf. sem mun annast dreifingu á frosnum vörum Iceland Foods til verslana og viðskiptavina í Danmörku, Svíþjóð, Noregi og Finnlandi. Ice JV ehf. er í 60% eigu SKEL í gegnum dótturfélagið Stork ehf. og 40% í eigu Iceland Foods. Félagið hefur einkarétt á innflutningi og dreifingu á vörum Iceland Foods í Danmörku, Svíþjóð, Noregi og Finnlandi. Félagið mun leggja grunn að öflugri heildsölu og í framhaldinu skoða möguleika á opnun smásöluverslunar þegar vörur Iceland Foods hafa náð fótfestu á markaði í áðurnefndum löndum.
