We’re thrilled to share one of our latest projects—a fast paced demolition that exemplifies the expertise, planning, and precision our team brings to every job, no matter what size. 📍 Project Location: Hawthorn High School, Pontypridd, South Wales 🏢 Site Details: Single and 2 storey clasp building along with 1900 original school for our valued client Kier Group 🛠️ Scope of Work: Licensed asbestos, soft strip and phased demolition of existing structures to make was for the new landscape areas to the newly built high school. ✅ Key Achievements: Delivered in live school environment Efficient waste management and achieving recycling percentage of over 99% Delivered 3 weeks inside target programme. Final account settlement prior to project completion. We would like to speak with: 🔺 Demolition Machine Operatives - minimum D90C holder and willing to be flexible which may include robotic demolition, skidsteer, soft stripping .... we are team played. If flexibility is something you can't offer please don't apply. Full driving license essential; 🔺 CCDO Gold/Black Card Demolition Supervisor - adopting a working role leading teams through safe delivery of soft strip and demolition projects whilst maintaining client relationships. Ability to be a 'working' supervisor is paramount and key to becoming a team player. Lead from the front and ideally have a CCDO DRO as a wing man. Non-working supervisors need not apply for this role although depending on project size non working may be implemented by J2R Management. Full driving license is essential; 🔺 CCDO Demolition and Refurbishment Operatives / Labourers - strong soft stripping skills ideally as a gang of 2 or 3 (full driving license is advantageous). Reliability and strong worth ethic is a must. 🔺 CCDO Demolition Apprentices - individuals currently enrolled on the scheme with a desire to progress through the ranks as a demolition professional. Only those with a desire to learn, be reliable and have strong work ethic need apply. J2R have supported this scheme since its inception and will continue to enroll the right individuals; J2R has been built as a slowly developing demolition contractor, incorporated in 2017 and now delivering schemes for private clients, local authorities, regional/national/international clients on schemes from £0 to £1.5million. We have a high staff retention percentage based on work satisfaction and staff rewards. Rates of pay / package shall only be discussed at interview stage but we can assure very competitive rates and bonus schemes for excellent attendance/performance. Basic DBS checks will be required.
