We’re encouraging women working in, or interested in working in, digital or tech roles to have their say in a new survey. The ‘Women Pivoting to Digital’ survey aims to explore your career choices, challenges, and views of working in a digital or tech career. The survey has been created by the City of London’s ‘Women Pivoting to Digital Taskforce’ which was created to support women from all backgrounds into digital and tech roles. Findings from the survey will: 💡 Create better programmes and initiatives that support equity in the digital workforce 🏛️ Inform Government policies that aim to reskill women into higher-paying careers 🤝 Allow us to work better with employers so they can become more equitable and inclusive To have your say, visit the link in the comments.

With almost 23,000 users and over 112,000 journeys completed, new data shows that Leeds City Bikes is helping to reduce congestion, cut emissions, and make cycling more accessible for residents in Leeds 🚲 Since the scheme launched in September 2023: ✅ 42% of riders have returned to cycling after a break ✅ 55% of riders now cycle more often ✅ 33% use their car less ✅40% of trips are for commuting – higher than the average across all Beryl schemes The scheme is operated by Beryl in partnership with Leeds City Council and West Yorkshire Combined Authority. West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Network Rail are working to improve access to platforms 16 and 17 at Leeds Rail Station. Proposals would mean more carriages can use the platform, which means more seats for travellers, alongside other accessibility improvements.
