As we wrap another year, our team looks back on a wonderful 2024. This year was notable as we took part many conferences and workshops, contributed to a number of publications (including an article in the Guardian!) and continued to meet amazing people across the globe from Bangkok to Kongsberg, Norway to Genoa, Italy and at home on Teviot Estate in London. We also had the joy of sharing the top prize in the LUCI Cities and Lighting Awards for Lighting for Genoa project! As we get ready to ring in 2025, we are thankful to all the clients, communities, colleagues, collaborators, educators and friends that continue to support us and promote our way of working. We wish everyone a wonderful festive break and we look forward to reconnecting with all your smiling faces in the new year. Warm wishes from us all at Light Follows Behaviour.

🕯️The community gathered at Teviot War Memorial to remember the fallen on Monday. 🪖 The event gave fascinating insights into local history, with a touching tribute to Sydney Ruskin, a local soldier who tragically lost his life near the Somme River in 1918. 🎖️ David Green, whose great uncle George Wills is also named on the memorial, travelled to Teviot to honour his family’s legacy and joined in the community’s remembrance. 💡The event was made possible by the recent illumination of the Teviot War Memorial. 🔦Local residents have been working with Light Follows Behaviour  to determine ways to improve lighting of public spaces in the area. ✨ The illumination of this much-loved landmark is the next stage of this community led project. 🤝 This is part of our plans with Hill Group UK to bring forward more affordable housing and regenerate Teviot. #lestweforget #wewillremebemberthem #poppy #community #memorial #regneration Royal British Legion
