What is leadership in Health & Social Care? 𝐀 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐱: Those who don't know how to manage are managing those who don't know what to do (LaVigna et al 1994). Have you ever found yourself feeling stuck in hierarchical structures that prevent you from having the courage to speak out - especially to more senior managers? Do you spend time with colleagues thinking what you might say to leaders who are not leading? Are there times you might say things like - how removed leaders are from the day to day support you are providing and the challenges faced - and how you wish they would listen to your feedback more? Well now you can! Good leadership of practice  is everyone's responsibility because leadership should be driven by person-centred values and person-centred actions. Be the capable leader of practice your service needs you to be: ✅ Create a 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 based on theneeds of the  person you are supporting ✅𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 that you can make change now ✅Action the changes needed  ✅𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 in your organisation to help with identifying the barriers to change and work with you on resolutions ✅𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 on  what is having an impact on people's 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 and 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 Are you able to share your thoughts on capable leadership?
