M Core Property acquires The Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland M Core Property, a leading commercial property and investment collective, has acquired popular retail destination, The Bridges Shopping Centre, in Sunderland. The 595,000 sq ft shopping centre dominates the city’s retail offering with almost 100 units differing in size. Anchored by Primark, Next and TK MAXX, the high footfall centre comprises most of the Sunderland retail floorspace and includes a 938-space car park. M Core Property acquired the centre as part of its proactive acquisition drive of shopping parades, centres and retail parks in new areas across the country. From raising over £2,550 for UK charities to supporting personal fundraising efforts and events, our team has been busy making a difference. Highlights include: ✅ Kevin Andrews DipSM,DipEM Andrews, our Group Head of Facilities Management, raising £3,180 for Macmillan Cancer Support by climbing Mount Everest. ✅Competing in the JLL Triathlon and raising £590 for WWF. ✅Raising £460 through a tombola for cancer support charity Help for Harry. ✅ LCP House donating 146 meals and four trolley packs to the Black Country Food Bank in one day. ✅Our committee also organised fantastic team-building events, like our annual summer party, and supported HR’s NHS Wellbeing Checks. We even hosted our first Retailer Golf Day, bringing agents and retailers together across the UK. We are pleased to share that M Core has partnered with PoGo Charge, one of the UK’s fastest growing ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charge point operators (CPO), for upcoming EV Rally! Starting on July 1st and lasting for five days, the EV Rally is a ‘demonstration’ of EV charging infrastructure with the goal of raising awareness of the role that EVs can play in decarbonising UK transport and helping businesses to reach the goal of net zero.
