👏 We couldn’t agree more! 👏
Celebrating women in STEM, like Ada Lovelace, is essential to driving innovation and encouraging the next generation of female leaders in science and technology. At MeVitae, we’re proud to be part of the movement to break barriers and promote diversity in these fields.
📈 As of 2024, women make up 28% of the global STEM workforce, a number that continues to grow, driven by a 15% increase in enrolment in STEM-related courses since 2020.
This is a positive step toward addressing the gender gap in these critical industries.
It’s also exciting to see more female-led startups in STEM gaining momentum, with venture capital funding rising by 25%, a clear sign that investors are recognising the immense potential and innovation women bring to these fields.
However, while this progress is encouraging, there is still much work to be done to create truly equitable opportunities for women in STEM. We need to continue fostering inclusive environments and providing the resources needed for women to not only enter STEM but thrive and lead in it.
Our CEO, Riham Satti, is one of the women making strides in the sector, using AI to transform the recruitment process and level the playing field for underrepresented talent. Together, we can champion equality and inspire more women and girls to pursue careers in STEM, ensuring that diversity is at the forefront of technological innovation.
