An absolutely joyous start to the day and I'm so proud of the Morgan Civil and Structural team for being so enthusiastic in their support of our local school and helping make this happen👏👏📚 My children are too old for school now but I can remember how important a school PTA can be in providing schools with the money to do the 'fun stuff' that school budgets just can't stretch to. The children were thrilled with the new play equipment - congratulations and thank you to the PTA at Crockerne Primary for all their hard work!

✨Good News Story ✨ It has been an absolute privilege to play a small part in supporting our local primary school over the last year or so. The hard-working PTA for Crockerne Primary contacted us with a request for help in raising funds to improve the playground facilities, classrooms and equipment. We are so proud of our team, who sprung into action and have baked cakes, painted classroom walls, and donated books amongst many other things. We've also hosted a carol service at our offices in collaboration with our neighbouring businesses. We were honoured to join the teachers, children, parents, and fellow supporting businesses yesterday for the PTA's opening ceremony of the new playground equipment. The project was fully funded by money raised through the incredible efforts of the PTA and their supporters. And the excitement amongst the children doubled when the BBC confirmed they would be attending the opening! You can catch the full interview on tonight's BBC Points West programme from 6.25 pm. Having a fun and engaging place to play at school is so important. However, with school budgets constantly under pressure, the cost of a playground makeover can often be out of reach for schools like Crockerne. This is where a proactive PTA can make a huge difference, as shown by the smiling faces of the children of Crockerne Primary, which you can see on tonight's programme. #SupportingSchools #NewPlayground #LocalCommunity #WorkingTogether

  • 🎄 12 Days of Charities - Day 12 - It's Christmas Eve!🎄 As always, our nomination for Day 12 of our 12 Days of Charities Christmas Giving Event is the Pill & District Foodbank. This local charity, run entirely by volunteers, will be working hard to support their community this Christmas by providing non-perishable food items and toiletries to those struggling to make ends meet, now and throughout the year. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you and wish a very Merry Christmas to everyone who volunteers at the Pill & District Food Bank and all our nominated charities for their incredible dedication and hard work throughout 2024. #SupportLocal #SupportingCommunities #12DaysOfCharities

  • 🎄 12 Days of Charities - Day 10🎄 Local school, St. Peters C of E has been nominated by our Business Manager, Laura for Day 10 - "For children, leaving their primary school is a huge step. Every school has a tough challenge covering the costs of basic supplies which doesn't leave much money for additional things, such as the celebrations that help mark these milestones in a child's life. Our local school PTA do a fantastic job of raising funds and I wanted to show them support by nominating them for our 12 Days of Charities this year" We also are proud to be supporting other local schools in our area with donations, volunteer days and through careers outreach. #SupportLocal #SupportingSchools #MilestoneMoments #12DaysOfCharities
