AND THEY'RE OFF! Rise and shine, it's the day of our #Maggies to #Maggies charity ride. There will be sweat and tears (hopefully no blood), as our team face a grueling 2 days, riding 342km from our London to Knutsford in support of our chosen charity Maggie's Centres, Maggie's Barts (City and East London), Maggie's Manchester. One more day until the Maggie's to Maggie's Cycle Ride! Our riders Amy Bristow, John Begley, Peter McGrath, David Wilson and Michael Wallace are gearing up for the challenge to cycle from London to Knutsford over tomorrow and Friday.   It was a pleasure to visit Maggie's Centres this week, both in London and Manchester, sporting our Maggie's cycling attire! On Thursday this week I am cycling with 4 of my colleagues from our London to Knutsford office to raise money for Maggie's. Last week, the sun shone brightly for our NB Summer Party 2024! We kicked off the day with an exciting canal quest along Paddington River, tackling various challenges before coming together for a fantastic evening of food, drinks, and celebrations.   Fostering a strong company culture and sharing our achievements together, is extremely important to us. With offices spread across the UK, including London, Knutsford, and Scotland, events like these provide invaluable face-to-face interactions that strengthen our connections and reinforce our shared values.   During the event, we were thrilled to hold our quarterly Values Awards, recognising those who have made a significant impact on their colleagues, as voted by their peers. A huge congratulations to our well-deserved winner, Katie Jennings!   A big thank you to our social committee for organising such a wonderful day. Celebrating together is an essential part of who we are at Norman Broadbent, and we're already looking forward to the next one!
