Today, our Charity and Medical Director, Davina Deniszczyc, joined a roundtable discussion in Parliament, chaired by Simon Opher MP, on how we can shift more healthcare from hospitals into communities - ensuring people get the right care and support earlier and closer to home. This follows the publication of our joint white paper with The Manchester Metropolitan University, Unlocking the Miracle Cure, which explores how movement can help the Government achieve its three key shifts in healthcare: ✅ Moving care closer to home rather than in hospitals ✅ Preventing illness rather than just treating it ✅ Moving the NHS from analogue to digital At Nuffield Health, we’re already making this a reality. Our free community rehabilitation programmes, delivered by incredible rehab specialists, are helping people recover faster, stay active, and manage conditions like joint pain more effectively. A big thank you to Policy Connect for hosting this important discussion. We look forward to continuing to influence the 10-year plan for health and making sure movement plays a key role in the future of healthcare.
