The Pell Frischmann transport planning team in Scotland is delighted to be supporting Highland Council in the development of their new Local Transport Strategy. The LTS will play a key role in setting out the ambitions for the transport system in the Highland over the coming years. The varied geography and breadth of the transport system are key considerations, so the new strategy meets the needs of all.   A key milestone has been reached today, following a period of stakeholder engagement, with the publication of the draft LTS themes and policies for feedback. 🗣️ Great to be able to talk to the local community on Saturday about our Ashton in Makerfield project… it was the second and final consultation event. ✨ Dream team of Richard MacDonald and Mia H from Wigan Council, Scarlett Towse and Beth Keel from Gillespies and me from Pell Frischmann. We had lots of help from colleagues behind the scenes as well 👏 🛍️ We spoke to lots of people and it’s a great opportunity to explain the plans in more detail and the reasoning behind the design decisions. Lots of local people, people visiting from elsewhere semi-locally (Billinge, Bryn, Haydock) and further afield (Preston!), and the local MP Josh Simons popped down! 🥶 We were lucky with the weather, it didn’t rain but it was rather cold!  💻 You can still have your say on the scheme….the consultation is running until 9th November (I'll pop a link in the comments) 🍬 I’d never had an Uncle Joe’s Mint Ball before… gosh they are nice (well, when in Wigan Metropolitan Borough!) 👯♀️ Fabulous to bump into Chris Smith after many many moons, it’s a small world!! #OurFutureAshton #AshtonInMakerfield

What an unforgettable evening at the Leeds & West Yorkshire Top 30 Under 30 awards night! I’m incredibly proud to be part of this year’s cohort and to celebrate alongside my fellow winners. Looking back on my journey through the leadership program, I'm filled with gratitude for the eye-opening experiences I've gained. The program has been nothing short of inspirational, pushing me to grow in ways I never expected and connecting me with an amazing network of driven, like-minded individuals. A massive thank you to Simon Jones, whose dedication to this program has empowered so many young professionals to reach new heights.
