We are delighted to share that Principal Consultant in Water Advisory, Emily Blaney, has been elected Early Careers President of the CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) for 2025/26! In this role, Emily will champion early and mid-career professionals across the water and environmental sector, supporting the Early Careers Network and promoting CIWEM’s mission to build a global community of water and environmental professionals dedicated to working for the public benefit. As the Early Careers President, Emily will collaborate with the incoming President to develop and deliver a shared Presidential theme, further advancing CIWEM’s objectives. CIWEM plays a vital role in finding and sharing best practice for nature-positive solutions to critical climate challenges, and Emily’s appointment highlights WSP’s ongoing commitment to driving excellence and leadership in this critical area.
