We’re proud to be part of a groundbreaking research project aimed at improving care for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Alongside Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Oxford, and the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, we are working to develop the first-ever co-designed clinical guidance for managing choking in MND—one of the most distressing symptoms of the disease. This project will bring together healthcare professionals, carers, and people living with MND to create practical, evidence-based guidance that truly meets the needs of those affected. We’re kicking off this important work with a launch event today Friday 14 March 2025, at Prospect Hospice, Wroughton where experts will share insights and discuss next steps.
