🌟 Meet Our Team: Rotimi Elisha Alao 🌟 This week, we’re excited to introduce Rotimi Elisha Alao, an Associate Consultant at Q3 Strategy. Rotimi is a dedicated global health professional with extensive experience in public health, international development, and health systems strengthening. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶: Rotimi holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Ibadan. His diverse background includes roles in research, consultancy, and clinical practice, making him a versatile asset to our team. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 🔶 Conducted landscape and whitespace analyses to develop strategic recommendations and issue briefs for Q3 Strategy. 🔶Led a health needs assessment for learning disabilities in three UK boroughs, commissioned by the NHS East London Foundation Trust. 🔶Managed a project supporting the UK rail industry's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, including public health capacity and emergency preparedness. 🔶Evaluated health and wellness initiatives for Newham Children’s Health and HeadStart Service, utilising quantitative and qualitative methodologies. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲:  Rotimi has worked with various organisations, including the World Health Organization, where he conducted a systematic review on corruption in the private health sector. He has also contributed to projects for the London Borough of Camden, Medway Council, and other UK and international bodies. Rotimi’s skills span statistical analysis, qualitative data coding, systematic reviews, and project management. He has published research on economic inequality in malnutrition and multidisciplinary visual rehabilitation, showcasing his commitment to improving health outcomes globally. Zoe brings a strong background in international development and global health, with expertise in monitoring and evaluation, research, and strategy. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗭𝗼𝗲: Zoe is a motivated consultant with experience across various thematic areas, including sexual and reproductive health rights/services, gender-based violence, antimicrobial resistance, humanitarian responses, and development finance. She has a proven track record of delivering high-quality work backed by robust evidence. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 🔶 Led the mid-term review of the Danish Family Planning Association's project in Ethiopia “Right to Safe Sex Work in Ethiopia”. 🔶 Led a multi-country case study on technology-facilitated gender-based violence across seven countries, producing an in-depth report and organising dissemination activities. 🔶 Contributed to the design and writing of proposals for evaluations and research studies. 🔶 Worked on Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning contracts with clients like the CEPI, DFPA, Rutgers, FCDO, UK DHSC, PSI, CIFF, UBS Optimus Foundation, The Global Fund, and The Hilton Foundation. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Zoe has experience delivering a variety of evaluations and working with a diverse range of clients, ensuring that her work is informed by high-level, robust evidence. Her research has focused on sexual and reproductive health rights, sustainability, and health systems strengthening, with research locations including Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. This week, Q3 Strategy proudly kicked off a collaborative project with our valued clients at Fòs Feminista. This initiative focuses on understanding and addressing menstrual discrimination and the structural barriers which reinforce this discrimination 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. 🌟 Meet Our Team: Deimante Kazlauskaite 🌟 This week, we’re excited to introduce Deimante Kazlauskaite, a Senior Global Health Consultant at Q3 Strategy. Deimante brings a wealth of experience and a keen eye for quality, providing both technical and strategic advice. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲: Deimante is experienced in client liaison, baseline and evaluation studies, including mid-term and end-line evaluations, and impact assessments. She has worked on multi-country projects and evaluated some of the largest European funding programmes, such as Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, focusing on global health challenges. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 🔶 Led technical delivery of the mid-term review of the Danish Family Planning Association's project in Ethiopia “Right to Safe Sex Work in Ethiopia”. 🔶Led the WaterAid's baseline assessment, including indicator design and methodology. 🔶Managed evaluations of major European funding programmes like Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe as well as research studies such as studies on enhancing access to research results, publications, and data for scientific purposes. 🚀 BIG NEWS - We're so proud to share the launch of our new report, "Decoding Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence: A Reality Check from 7 Countries", 📄 which focuses on how technology impacts gender-based violence. This multi-country study provides key insights into how we understand and define the nature of technology-facilitated gender-based violence, the effectiveness of prevention and accountability mechanisms, and makes recommendations that can help individuals and organisations design better ways to combat this type of violence. 📅 Today, during the Human Rights Council, the launch event brought together key stakeholders to discuss strategies to build a safer digital future, with insights from Ghizlane Mamouni, Dr. Aflodis Kagaba, Nathalie Stadelmann, Kinda Majari and Dr. Loes Loning.
